Peter Geiger

Custom license plate art

Peter Geiger is a nationally featured award-winning artist from Cary, NC. While I create many forms of license plate artwork, my main focus is guitar art.

My guitar art takes the form of a 3D sculpture that is an exact replica of classic guitar shapes. It features a design of colors, images, and shapes, all created from vintage license plates that are mounted to a wood backing.

Each piece tells a story. Some pay tribute to music legends. Most are custom pieces that are commissioned for a special occasion, such as an anniversary, wedding, birthday, or graduation.

I have extensive experience working on large projects with commercial clients. I've created more than 300 pieces for the national Red Robin restaurant chain. My commercial clients include the tour promotion company AEG Live, Hendrick MotorSports, Pennzoil and ESP - Entertainment and Sports Partnerships, the Americana TV show, Keller-Williams Realty, Alpheus Communications in TX, the Independent Community Bankers of America, and others.

Some of my high profile clients include Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, and Bruno Mars. Rascal Flatts featured my license plate design on a Taylor guitar they used on their Changed 2012 concert tour.

I also enjoy participating in juried art shows across the country.
