I love when my clients tell me what to do. This is a perfect example. A former New Yorker read about me in Our State magazine, and we worked together to come up with a design for an acoustic that would pay tribute to the Core 4 players responsible for the team's championship wins. The jersey numbers of Derek Jeter, Andy Pettite, Mario Rivera and Jorge Posada are featured on the guitar body, and their names are written on the side of the body. Pin striping is used on the key pegs, and I hand crafted a version of the Yankee symbol, which is prominently featured in the center hole. The blue and white New York tags really make this one pop. Their reflective qualities will make this one sing when the light shines on it.
